Evandro Valente is a robotics and aerospace entrepreneur based in the Discovery District in College Park, Maryland. Evandro co-founded Airgility Inc in 2017 and was active in creating the vision for Airgility, prior to 2017, as a faculty member at the University of Maryland in College Park. Evandro holds a B.S. '03 and M.S. '06 in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland. Since his arrival to UMCP in 2000, Evandro has grown with the campus and its community from Undergrad, to Grad, to Teaching Faculty Member (13 Years), and to Spin-off Entrepreneur. Evandro is one of the EnTERPreneur Award recipients for 2022 by the UM Alumni Association.
