Maryland Robotics Club visits Northhrop Grumman for design reviewThe students of the Maryland Robotics Club will be visiting Northrop Grumman in Annapolis on Jan. 16 for their first design review in preparation for the annual AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) competition. Northrop Grumman engineers have kindly offered to host our students for two design reviews.
The AUVSI Foundation and the Office of Naval Research's 15th International RoboSub Competition will be held July 22-28, 2013 at SSC Pacific TRANSDEC, San Diego. The goal of this competition is to advance the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) by challenging a new generation of engineers to perform realistic missions in an underwater environment. The event also fosters ties between young engineers and the organizations developing AUV technologies.
