Dr. Liou is interested in industrial robotics for the electronics industry.
 
Biography
Andrew Liou is an executive vice president of the Foxconn Technology Group. He holds a PhD in industrial engineering and also is a professional engineer. Currently, he is in charge of smart phone factories at Zhenzhou, Shenzhen, Taiyuan, Sao Paulo and Chennai with  revenue of $75B USD and 300,000 employees. Dr. Liou is one of the leaders defining Foxconn’s intelligent manufacturing roadmap and pursing next generation smart factory manufacturing.
 
He has been with Foxconn since 2008. Previously he was vice president of Foxconn University and executive vice president of iDPBG at Foxconn. Prior to Foxconn, he was a professor and department chair at Cleveland State University (1986–2002) and president of Uniworld Consulting, Asia, from 2002–2008.
