This seminar on Research Entrepreneurship will provide Principal Investigators with a pathway to navigate the complex issues surrounding Intellectual Property created through sponsored research. Topics covered will include the University of Maryland Intellectual Property Policy, federal regulations on ownership of IP created under sponsored projects, and how to properly protect Intellectual Property in the performance of federal and industry research through the use of Non-Disclosure Agreements and disclosure markings.
