Take your research or great idea and start a company! Enter the UMD Business Model Challenge by February 22, 2013 with just an executive summary and three-minute video pitch.
Interested initial entrants can take advantage of Innovation Office Hours, offered weekly on campus, for advice in preparing your submission.
ACCELERATE
Up to six finalists will be invited to complete the new Maryland-Corps (M-Corps) program, where teams are guided through an intensive business model development and customer discovery process modeled after the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program.

The competition has historically awarded more than $697,000 to companies originating at the University of Maryland since 2001.
